Thanks to Arts Council Northern Ireland our principal funder for supporting DCA for another year. Our programme of activity this year will be a little bit different.
The 2022/23 artistic programme will provide a balanced approach to community arts provision in Newry Mourne and Down. The programme will work to be inclusive of the needs of both the participant and the artists with a focus on creating quality artistic outcomes that enhances the practice of artists and engagement that empowers the participant.
Our programme will deliver:
- 6 projects for communities
- 6 projects for children and young people
- 6 projects for older people
- Activity for 554 participants
- 164 workshops
- Projects in 8 locations across Newry Mourne and Down
- Partner with 10 community groups and 1 statutory body
